A good business name must describe what you offer, be easy to spell, and memorable. Because you may end up selling things for toddlers and older kids, you may not want to limit yourself to babies in your name. Check with your state's website to see if the name is in use in your state, in Colorado it's in the Secretary of State's area on the website. There you can see if there is an existing business with the name you've picked out, or if it's trademarked in that state. I urge you to avoid being too cute, please think of the names of the hair salons in your area, and consider how those names affect how you feel about those businesses.
A name may be one of the last things to think about. As you do all of the many things necessary to see if this business may work out, jot down ideas. Please write a business plan first, and do your other homework. Good luck!
