Is there a baby name that you really hate?

I know you have you have at least one you can't stand!

Is there a baby name that you really hate?
Sadie, Samantha, Amanda, Sopia, Kaylee/Kayla

Brayden (or anything ending in -aden), Spencer
Reply:For girls I agree with the first person it's definitely Nevaeh, it's just so trashy!! %26amp; Tiffany, which reminds me of a stripper name.

I also hate really made up names for girls or boys (but especially the ones I've seen for girls!)

And for boys I used to love Aiden, until it became so horribly overused... now I think it's just silly to name your boy Aiden!

For boys I also don't like Wyatt... I've seen it on a lot of lists lately, but all I can think of is Wyatt Earp! It just seems like it's asking to be made fun of.

I'm also not a fan of the really common names, such as Matthew, Michael, Christopher, etc. There's nothing wrong with them, I just think they're kind of old now, and make for better middle names :)
Reply:any name that is intentionally spelled strange. Have some faith that your child will posses the ability to be unique and interesting as a person and drop the terrible trendy and ugly names.. I don't like Kaden, nevaeh, Mackenzie, Madison, Makayla, and all the other names that run a dime a dozen right now. What ever happened to a nice, strong, classic name like Isabella or Sophia?
Reply:I've gotta agree with the first answer and say one of mine is Nevaeh. Others are:

Jayden

Teegan

Keegan - reminds me of 'Kegel' exercises

Braxton - Braxton Hicks? Why use the name?

ETA - to His Girl - I totally agree about the Gary thing! I heard that this one young couple named their son George! Just sounds too 'old' to me.

Which reminds me, I also don't like the name Lillian. Lily, maybe. But not Lillian - that's too 'old' too, but it seems to be quite popular lately.
Reply:Heaps. Mostly those ones that you can only picture old people with. Like Gary, I can't see how people can call their little baby that.

And then there are the overly used ones.

The ones that are too masculine to be used for a girl.

And the ones that are spelt so that no one can pronounce them.

But then I love unusual names :P
Reply:for a girl: Pandora. That is just awful- no offense to anyone.

for a boy: Fred, George, Stanley. All of those really old fashioned names.
Reply:For girls I hate Neveah... how tacky. I also hate Ashley and Brittany.

For boys I hate Brayden, Aiden, and Jackson.
Reply:For girls: Nevaeh and any traditionally boy name such as Ryan or Dylan

For boys: Aiden/Cayden/Braden/Hayden/Jayden/etc.
Reply:Any name that is repeated more than twice in a family...or any boring name that everyone has...Michael, Christopher, Nick, Joseph, etc.

Same for girls
Reply:i cant think of any that i hate.

but i really dislike it when people make names up.

or names that are used wayyy too much they become annoying.
Reply:Courtney

Reply:richard and jennifer-it's like everywhere you go you still hear these names...
