Whats the name of the nurse that helps take care of new born babies?
a pediatrics nurse
Reply:Probably a pediatric nurse. For high risk newborns, I think it's a neonatal nurse. For the one who helps with breastfeeding, it's lactation nurse.
Reply:there are lots of different types of nurses, graduate nurse, LPN, Rn, pediatric, neonatal, nurse assistant
Reply:Some of them are just regular RN's (registered nurse), and some of them are neonatal nurses (the ones that deal only, directly with the infants)
Reply:it would be a pediatrician. or if it is a premature baby its a neonatal nurse.
Reply:ummm...the midwife delivers the baby...perhaps you mean a wet nurse? I don't know really...pediatric nurse?

Reply:My husband and I refered to them as 'nursery nurse'.
