Little plastic babies wanting to know the name of them?

I used to play and collect these little hard plastic babies. You could get them in either black or white and they would have a little cloth nappy on them they were only a few centremetre tall and you didnt know what sex or race it was untill u opened it i think it came in a little foil packaging.

They also used to have expressions on there face and either be standing crawling or laying down or asleep.there were like little collectibles i think it was around the early 90's i was getting them. If anyone could help Id be very interested to go back to my childhood and know what these were called and would like to know the company that used to make them i wouldnt mind collecting them again.

When I was a toddler in the 1940s we had ten cent "kewpie dolls" that fit this discription. Back then they were poor grade fired clay. Some came dressed but most had only ribbons glue over vital spots and then another around the waist. My mom worked at the "Woolworths 5 and 10" so we had several of each.
Reply:Find them?I remember them, trying to find them too.Think called lil babies.Bought them at registers%26amp;toy shops.Didnt know if b/w till open.
