What names did you chose for your children, and why?





(just thought this would be a fun question and a break from giving 'opinions' on other's names) :p

What did you name your babies?
Lawrence Dale -- Both are middle names, Lawrence is handed down on his side going back about 6 or 7 gen, and Dale is handed down on my side also going back about 7 or 8 gen. Both are to the first born son.


Tommy Edward -- My dad's first name and my husband's dad's first name


Morgan Taylor -- I have always loved that name


Alisha Ann -- My husband has always loved that name

Norah Jean ( Nora as a variant of my sisters name and jean is after my middle name)





Christina Danielle (Christina is another sisters middle name and Danielle is my best friend since childhood, first name.)
Reply:Caitlin Shea- Caitlin is Irish as well as Shea. Caitlin is the Irish form of Catherine(my mom's middle name) and Shea is the girl form of Shane (her father's middle name) %26amp; Gabriella Marie- (Italian, and Catholic which her father is.)

Reply:With all thats been going on in the world (in Nature) I think one of the most given names of babies born this year should turnout to be Noah.


I think thats why Sista-in-law named her newborn son Noah.

Leilani Clara - Leilani I heard as a child and never forgot, Clara being MY middle name





And baby #3 is on the way. It's a girl





Eliana Nevaeh - Eliana is my first daughters name jumbled up a little, and Nevaeh (as cliche as it is) is heaven spelled backwards also chosen because my brother said he'd name his first daughter that. That was about 3-4 weeks before he passed at the age of 19, 5 yrs ago.

Sean will be 2 in June and Austin will be 5 months on May 18th. The 2 cutiest boys in the whole wide world! :)

Reply:Rebecca Katherine, I went to school with a Rebecca and loved the name . I knew at the age of 16, my first born daughter will be named Rebecca. Katherine is after her great grandmother.


Jasmine Simone. Jasmine is after Princess Jasmine in Aladdin, and Simone is the female version of Simon, named after her uncle. We didn't have any relatives with nice enough names to match or go with Jasmine.
Reply:I have five girls I named my first daughter Stephanie Lynne, Vanessa Lynne, Alyssa Josephine, Jessica Marie, Elizabeth Arwen.


In case you didn't know I got Arwen from The Lord Of The Rings. Arwen was played by Liv Tyler. We were going to name her Arwen but my mother was like oh then we can nick name her Winnie. All I kept hearing in my head was Winnie the Pooh, so we said no. Good question.
