Need help with babies name?

We are about to have a baby boy in December and have a name picked out but don't want to tell our family because we are affraid they are not going to like it. Our last name is Rubio and the name we have picked out is

Ian Alexander Rubio

What do you think? Please be honest

Need help with babies name?
Ian is a great name but it's Scottish and doesn't really sound right with Rubio, sorry just my opinion.
Reply:Your the parents whatever name you chose is going to be wonderful.. If your family doesn't like it tell them tough. Its your child its your right as a parents....
Reply:Very nice!! I love the way it rolls off the tongue.Sounds musical.Congrads!!
Reply:That is a very nice name :-)

Ian has always been one of my favorites. Plus, it's not too common. I've always thought Alexander was an over-used name, but it's a good balance to have with a name like Ian that isn't as popular. Good choice and congrats on your new little guy :-)
Reply:I really like the whole name. I also have a son named Ian, and the only drawback to this name is that when someone in the house is looking for him, they all call out with a shrill "EEEEEEEEEEEE-aaaaaaan!" Congratulations!
Reply:that is a very nice name
Reply:Thats a good name;)

Congrats and Good Luck!!
Reply:Ralph Rubio sounds nice or

Rhett or Rhed-that's my vote(s)
Reply:LOVE it!!!
Reply:i like it! honestly i think its cute
Reply:I don't think it sounds bad at all. And besides who cares what they think, once they see the baby, they won't care what you have named him, they will love and call him what ever his name will be. I think its a cute name and sounds good together. OH, BTW, CONGRATS!!!!

and by your screen name I assume you or your spouse are in the marines, just wanted to say THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU!
Reply:So what if your family doesn't like the name. It's your baby and you can name hime whatever you want. And I love the name Ian. Excellent choice. Congrats on your upcoming addition.
Reply:I really, really like it! Great choice and not an overused name!
Reply:its a very interesting name, I like it very much---this name gives a good strong character, maybe a little stubborn--intelligent thoughtful and creative-----very good choice
Reply:Beautiful.
Reply:Honestly, that's not bad. If you both like it, go for it.
Reply:I think its cute. I say stay with it.
Reply:I think that the name is absolutely great. congratulations on your blessed event in December. It doesn't matter what the family thinks, you love the name, and they love you. Bless you all. Niki
Reply:I like that name. Thats a very nice name for a boy
Reply:Fine name. Not too trendy or overly popular or made up or anything. Good choice.
Reply:it is ok but I like Ivan instead but congrats on your bundle of joy
Reply:I love it! I agree, I would not tell the family...that is exactly what we did. They will not be negative if it is already his name so just wait and tell them then! Good luck!
Reply:I really like it. I think it sounds very cute, but it'll be fit for an adult also when he gets older.

Good luck and it's your baby so don't let people try to tell you what to name him.
Reply:I love the name Ian. Matter of fact we have a 6 mo old name Ian Crystapher-Edward and Alexander would have been my oldest son's middle name but we chose to go with a family name instead!
Reply:I like "Prince." And that sounds contemporary yet it sticks within society's norms.
Reply:I really like that name. I think he can grow up proud of that name. Its not a funky name like a lot of people are using now. It also sound successful.
Reply:I think it is a good name. It is strong and not like the averege everyday name. If you don't want to tell your family, don't tell them till he is born, and just introduce him as they come to visit :) That's what I did. My boys are Daxton Russ Quigley, and Tracen Jay Quigley :)
