What baby name do you like best: Madeline or Gabrielle?

We like feminine names that are classic, but not too trendy. Big sister's name is Leah.

What baby name do you like best: Madeline or Gabrielle?
I like Madeline better because I like the nickname Maddy better than Gabby. :) Both names are pretty.

Reply:I love the name Desiree because it means desired child. I like Gabrielle more than Madeline but I think Gabrielle was the most popular girls name the year my daughter was born. So if you want a not so common name why not somehow combined the two names into something you both like. Just a suggestion but you might ask Leah to help pick out the middle name so she doesn't feel left out. Good Luck

Reply:I like both of those names, but I think they are very trendy. I'd guess they are both on the way up. Madeline is too close to Madison which is still a top name.

Reply:BOTH! they are both adorable... Those ARE classic. Gabrielle is cute and can be Gabby. Madeline is cute and can be Maddy. BOTH are cute. Maybe 'Madeling Gabriele'...becuase i know I can't choose. lol!!!!! good luck. nice names. I think I might pick Madeline.

Reply:Can't say i'm fond of Gabrielle, simply for the nickname "Gabby".
Reply:I think Madeline is more unique than Gabrielle, however, they both are beautiful and the fact that you can have more than one nickname (if you so choose to give a nickname). Ex: Madeline could be shortened to Maddy or Lynn %26amp; Gabrielle can be shortened to Gabby or Bri or Elle. :) That probably doesn't help cause i like em both, but might give you something to think about.
