Reply:In my native tounge this is "Hirodukusan", long name, but I know since I am one of the first responses, you will choose my name for you baby.
Reply:My husband's name is Teddy Bear McDowell. And although that's more of a masuline name...and rare at that...I remember reading somewhere that it means "Gift from God."

Not sure who came up with that or how. But I LOVE my husband's name. It very unique. :D I also named my youngest son Teddy. But used his uncle's middle name (Markus) instead of is daddy's (Bear)

Reply:How about Pestilence. It was a gift from God. Read Job, Exodus,Lot.
Reply:Most of the answers you got were wrong. Hannah does not mean gift from God. Jonathan means exactly that in Hebrew; Nathan is used to mean that, although it literally only means "He gave" or "He has given" with the He meaning God... many sites that give name meanings are not really reliable.
Reply:try kiran

it means sun's rays...or sunlight...which is a gift of god!
