What do people think of the baby name Christian?

If I chose the name Christian I would call him Chris. I like the name but fear it may be too common? I'm debating between that and the name Wesley which is not terribly common.

What do people think of the baby name Christian?
If my child was named Christian, I wouldn't shorten it to Chris, because it is very common, and Christian is not so much. But I LOVE the name Wesley, shortened to Wes. Very cute. I like both.
Reply:i really like Christian amd it sorta causes the kid to become a Christian because thats his name!! wesley is cute, though. i know a guy named Christian but he goes by C.J. cuz he's really cool and nice %26amp; his middle name starts with a J but idk what it is.....




































Reply:Christian is a great name, a lot nicer than Wesley. Another nice way you can spell it is Kristian, Kris is a cool nickname, and less common than Chris. :-)
Reply:Christian is a great name. I don't think it's to common of a name. I've never met one so i guess it just depends on the area you live in.
Reply:I do not think Christian is too common of a name; and while wesley isn't all that common, it is kind of plain. So I'd pick Christian
Reply:I love Christian. More than likely he will end up going by Chris, but you can still call him by his full name. I prefer Christian over Wesley.
