What happens inthe state of Virginia if you can't come up with a baby name before leaving the hospital?

I have no idea about Virginia laws and such. But I have a whole list of baby names that have meaning behind them (boys and girls). Take a look. If nothing else, you'll find something that gives you an idea for what you want.

Best thing to do, is to not stress. It'll all fall together. Congradulations!

What happens inthe state of Virginia if you can't come up with a baby name before leaving the hospital?
You must pick a name just as other have said for legal reasons (birth certificate etc.) Do you know the sex of the baby? If so, get some ideas from this site by asking some good names for boys and/or girls and the meaning of the names. I have seen people give beautiful names. Good Luck and Congratulations.
Reply:Yeah, the baby has to have a name before leaving the hospital.

Reply:they wont let the baby leave the hospital because the forms for birth certificate and social security card must be completed and they have to have a name on them but youve had mths to think about it. so wats the prob.
Reply:Nickel is right. A birth certificate has to be done before you leave the hospital. Look on the internet for names and its meaning. Once you come up with the name, then don't look at any more.
Reply:Either What Nickel said

or

BABY GIRL (LAST NAME)

BABY BOY (LAST NAME)
Reply:I don't know. Sorry. You could google it.:)
